Camponotus cf. nicobarensis - AntKit

Camponotus cf. nicobarensis

Camponotus cf. nicobarensis are an Asian ant species which do not require hibernation due to their hot habitat. They are a lovely ant species with similar colours to Camponotus habereri. Contrary to typical Camponotus species, Camponotus cf. nicobarensis have a relatively fast rate of brood development. They benefit from having a low power heating source to speed up brood development. Camponotus cf. nicobarensis are a good species for beginner ant-keepers who are wishing to try exotics as part of their next ant species.
