Shipping


COVID-19 NOTICE:
Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, our shipping policy is subject to the following changes to allow us to continue to operate and serve our customers.
Next Working Day / Express Shipping is still available but not advisable as Royal Mail currently do not offer a guarantee on this service due to the pandemic. We advise Standard Shipping for all orders.
To reduce load on the Royal Mail workforce, we are limiting our postal collections. This means that orders may not ship for up up to 3 working days before being collected.
We are also operating on a reduced number of staff so processing time for orders may be a little longer than usual.
We thank you in advance for you support during these exceptional times.

 

Shipping Policy

We ship orders every weekday (excluding Wednesday). Orders placed on Wednesday, Saturday or Sunday are shipped the next working day.
The following services are available:

Domestic (UK) Orders:

Standard Shipping (1-3 Days)

We aim to ship all standard tracked orders placed before 12pm the same working day for delivery withing 3 working days.  Orders placed after 12pm will ship the next working day.

Next Working Day Shipping (Tracked)
We aim to ship all Next Working Day orders placed before 12pm the same working day for delivery the next working day.  Orders placed after 12pm will ship the next working day.   We use Royal Mail Special Delivery 1PM for this service.

 

International (Non-UK) Orders:

We use a range or shipping services and couriers both untracked and tracked for our international orders. We offer the best rates available with different levels of service time however we aim to deliver all international orders within 10 working days although there may be additional processing or delivery time for some destination countries.

 

Custom Orders:

Custom orders may have additional processing time (eg. Items with non standard connectors, decorated items, different glass colour etc).

 

Holidays and Mating Season

During busy periods there may be delays in dispatch or shipping. Please contact us in advance if you have an order that needs processing urgently.


Pre-order and Backorder Items:

Order placed that contain pre-order or back order items will not ship until all items are ready for shipping. If you require separate shipments, please make a separate order or contact support@antkit.uk to arrange part-shipment.

International Ant Orders:

Please note that it is illegal to import live queen ants into some countries (include USA, Canada, China and Australia). For this reason, we will not ship ants to any address outside of Europe.
