Introducing brand new for 2020 the AntKit AirDen. The first AAC product from AntKit since 2016.

The Size 2 AirDen is ideal for a colony up to 500 adult workers.

It contains 4 chambers deep chambers with a large surface area to accomodate a large or growing colony.

The core of the AirDen is made from AAC which provides excellent airflow, humidity, thermal insulation, mould resistance, grip for brood development and is generally acepted by many professional antkeepers as the best artificial substrate for most species.

We use only the highest quality AAC, Ytong by Xella, and as such each product is consistant and produced to very high standards.

This AirDen is externally and internally painted and sealed to reduce evaporation and to strenghten the overall product.

Our AirDen nest uses our easy to use 'sawtooth' connectors which allow you to expand the capacity of your nest without the need for any tubing and include a shutter on each port to allow you to control the flow of ants into and out of the nest.

Each AirDen has a large water reservoir which provides a constant and consistant humidity gradient throughout the nest.

Every nest includes a red acrylic nest cover, a short length of the appropriate sized tubing and a pipette for hydrating the nest.
